Your local utility companies will respond to mark the location of underground utility lines to help you avoid contacting a line while digging.
You must call at least 48 hours in advance.

Failure to adhere to these laws could lead to catastrophe. Just nicking a buried line can cause major injury, damage to the environment and widespread utility service interruption. Substantial fines, litigation and other expenses can also result.
